Authors: Wei Wang, Young-Sheng Wang, Ru Liu, Fang-fang Zhang, Zhong-Jian Li

Aims: To find the influence of the blood routine examination to ECG in pulmonary tuberculosis patients.

Methods: Divided 1056 pulmonary tuberculosis patients into 6 groups by blood routine examination, Group1 is Blood Routine normal group, Group2 is erythrocytosis group, Group3 is leukocytosis group, Group4 is erythropenia group, Group5 is leukopenia group, Group6 is erythropenia and leukopenia group, then analyzed their electrocardiograms of each group retrospectively.

Results:

  1. The rate of tachyarrhythmia in pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Group6 is higher than Group1 (P 0.05)
  2. The rate of right atrial hypertrophy and right ventricular hypertrophy in Group3 is higher than Group1 (P 0.05);
  3. The rate of ST-T and T wave change in Group6 is higher than Group1 (P 0.05).

Conclusion: When N/med tuberculosis bacili make pulmonary tuberculosis patients’ WBC and RBC decreased, the sinus tachycardia and the ST-T and T wave change  had  higher  incidence  rate;  When  the  WBC  decreased, the right atrial hypertrophy and right ventricular hypertrophy had higher incidence rate. Both of the two ECG change were specific.
