STUDY OF ECG BIOLOGICAL IDENTITY CARD

Introduction: To make a new generation of electrocardiogram biosignal identity card on the basis of characteristics of ECG waves and explore its superiority.

 

Methods: 50 people were chosen to do 12 lead electrocardiograms by MAC-5000 ECG machine from American GE Company, and the ECG was printed in the back side of their “ identity card ” respectively and stored memory chips into them to make a new generation of ECG biological identity card with heart information, then the cards were compared with fingerprint, iris, DNA identification to analysis the advantages and disadvantages about the identity recognition function.

Results: The new generation of ECG biological identity card had the following characteristics: Its identification function is feasible, and is not easy to fake. It could make up for the shortcomings of other identification methods, such as fingerprint, iris, DNA. It has univesiality and portability, so we can identity a person conveniently and quickly whenever and wherever it is possible. It could be used to store and observe the heart information of healthy people dynamicly.

 

Conclusions: The new generation of ECG biological identity card is promising to be a new biosignal identification method and make up for the shortcomings of other identification method.
