Extradigital glomuvenous malformations (GVM) are often times misdiagnosed or diagnosedlate, years after a patient's first visit to a physician. Do to their frequently painful nature, theycan lead to significant physical and mental distress in affected patients. This articlepresents the case of a patient with a GVM, which was successfully diagnosed and treated.We describe the signs and symptoms characteristic for GVMs, as well as diagnosticmethods. The purpose of our paper is to increase awareness of this condition, such thatearly diagnosis and prompt treatment can be implemented.
